GoChatty is a rather new site with an interesting concept. Unlike most similar platforms, it’s not focused on just one region in the world and connects people from all over the globe. So, it has a broad target audience and can work both as a regular dating site and a mail-order bride site.
But is that concept as good as it seems to be? I joined the community to find out, so you can find the results of my research in this in-depth GoChatty review.

Free and premium services on GoChatty
Just like on most other similar websites, features on GoChatty.com can be divided into two main categories—free features and features that will cost you some credits.
Free features:
- Registration. It’s free and unrestricted for everyone except for minors. Users can also add any information to their profiles without paying.
- Access to other members’ profiles. Once you set up an account, you unlock access to all the profiles and most photos (there are secret photos, too).
- Likes & favorites. These are the only basic free communication features.
- Search and suggested profiles. Search or the People feature can also be used by both standard and premium users.
- Customer support. There’s live chat available around the clock.
Premium features:
- Messaging. There’s an online messenger with an opportunity to exchange media files, audio messages, disappearing messages, and disappearing photos.
- Profile highlighting. Premium members can get a serious boost both on search results (appear higher than everyone else) and on every member’s inbox (messages will also be highlighted).
- Premium support. As a paying member, you receive the response much sooner.
- Gifts. There is a quite good selection of virtual gifts.
- Super Match. These are suggested compatible matches chosen by the GoChatty matching algorithm.
I was satisfied with the quality of features overall and failed to find GoChatty reviews where other customers would complain about them. Still, I’d like to stress once again that this is a freemium site. Free features help to learn more about members and the community at large but you’ll need to pay to have a really good experience.
How does GoChatty work?
The GoChatty dating site isn’t one of the platforms with incredibly complex systems, dozens of different features, and 5+ premium plans with different sets of features. For every member, the process will consist of the three main stages:
Everything is super simple and highly customizable. If you’re going to use the site, I’d share just one recommendation. If you meet someone interesting, have a conversation but not about the weather. Start with interests and relationship goals. If they match, keep communicating if they don’t, move on. Otherwise, you’re very likely just to waste your credits and, therefore, your money.

On the one hand, it’s hard to say that GoChatty profiles are low-effort. On the other hand, they aren’t super detailed, either.

As you can see, there are some essential basic details, a short bio, and lots of photos. The latter is always appreciated (there are around 15+ of them on profiles in total), and most profiles on the site contain a great gallery, but I would still want to see more information about one’s life and relationship goals.
