At first glance, LoverWhirl seems to be another site to meet Asian mail-order brides, but once you take a closer look at it, you see it’s rather a versatile platform for cross-cultural communication, which is mostly used as an Asian dating site.
I decided to find out what this quite an interesting website has to offer, so I created an account and started contacting members. What were the results? I’ll tell you everything in this Loverwhirl review.

So, as I’ve noted previously, you can’t just buy a plan for a month on LoverWhirl.com. You’ll be offered to buy credits instead, and the prices will be as follows:

- 250 credits — £55.30

The more credits you buy at a time, the cheaper they get. Also, you don’t have to make a purchase right after you create a profile. There’s a welcome bonus of 20 free credits that can be spent on any premium feature, for example, instant messaging.
Free and premium services on LoverWhirl
Let’s say you’re going to use the LoverWhirl dating site. What are you going to pay for and what will be free for you? I made the lists, to take a look.
Free features:
- Personality quiz, profile upgrade. When you sign up for the site, you take a quiz, and part of that information will be shown in your profile. You can also write a bio and add as many photos as you want to. There’ll be no charges for creating a competitive profile.
- Basic search, swiping feature, followers. Both free and premium users can access any profile on the site, apply any search filters, swipe unlimited profiles, and match with an unlimited number of members.
- Winks, likes, favorites. There are ways to contact others for free. For example, you can send unlimited likes or winks. Also, you can add unlimited profiles to your favorites.
- Support services. There’s no priority support or anything like that. All members regardless of their status can get help from the support team in the shortest terms.
Premium features:
- Live chat & Mails. Basically, you can choose between instant messaging or the Mail service or switch between these two features.
- Exchange of media files & access to videos. You’ll be charged some extra credits if you open an introductory video on someone’s profile. Also, you’ll need to spend some money on sending a media file (a photo, video, or an audio file).
- Gifts. Members can exchange virtual gifts, and a real gift store is expected to be launched soon.
This is quite a good selection of services, but it’s still not enough to say whether the site is effective enough, so I analyzed other important aspects and features below.
